Working Out
I love you gals! I appreciate all that you do. Whenever I need a sports bra, you are my go-to company! I know you will have what I need to keep the girls in place; not to mention bra-sized swimwear that is beautiful and functional. I am a loyal customer for life!
Dear Title Nine:
Thank you so much for being the company and women that you are. I love your clothes and shopping with you. I lived on the East Coast for the past twenty years so I did most of my shopping online. It was always a better trip whenever I traveled somewhere that had a Title Nine store and could actually go in and try on all the pretty and badass clothes. (I kept eagerly watching as you slowly expanded east, thinking one day you would make it to the East Coast.) This year, I applied to phd programs around the country and was accepted by two – one in Berkeley and the other in Chicago. The extra bonus to this exciting news was that both places had stores!!!! (Silly, I know, but sometimes it is the small things that really bring a smile to ones face.) I chose the program in Chicago and now live a short 25 minute walk from the Evanston store. I love it!
Again, thank you for being the fantastic company you are. I am a patron for life. Best wishes for continued success.
Cathy
Because I know “who” you are, I have been a loyal customer for years and will continue to support businesses like you! Keep up the good work! I am old enough to remember the passage of Title IV and you embody the spirit of that legislation!
For many years I have worn the “frog bra” but now it has been discontinued. The time has come–I need new bras. Which of your bras would fit me (and do the same thing) as the “frog bra”?
I love your clothes and your philosophy. I have many favorites and often ask for Title 9 gist cards for birthdays and Christmas. When I find something I like, I often get multiples.
I find, however, that it is difficult for me to try new styles, especially in bottoms. Sometimes bottoms don’t fit well and I have to try them first. I live on the east coast and don’t have access to a brick and mortar store and must rely on web orders. If something doesn’t fit, I must send it back and get charged a fee. This is really hard given that the clothes are expensive in the first place. I would understand a processing fee if I had the option to go to a store. But I don’t, and so while I love the clothes, I fin myslef ordering less because I am afraid they won’t fit and I can’t afford the fee to send them back. I also wish there were a set minimum for free shipping. I usually wait until you have a free shipping special and sometimes things are gone in my size. I appreciate that you are a small company and I love the quality of your clothes. I just wanted to give some feedback on fees. Thanks!!
I love Title 9 clothes! However, I am petite and would love to have some petite sizes, expecially pants. I have to shop elsewhere for my pants. Just a thought. Keep up the good work!!
I like your site and your clothes, but I usually give my business to Athleta for these reasons (in order of importance)
Free shipping and returns
Rewards program
Better sales
Small company or not you still have to compete ladies!!
i love your stuff! your clothes have taken a turn over the last few years and have gone from that polo shirt look to clothing so full of goodness that i could open any page of any catalog and order whatever is on that page. you have a great marketing person, and the catalogs are eye candy! really, it is fantastic how you have grown this business.
one thing that is disappointing: i received a sweater for christmas and it did not fit. i sent it back and i had to pay for the shipping. it wasn’t so much the $8 that i had to spend, but i had to pay to return something i did not order. i just think that was a little lame.
other than that, you have great customer service and the cutest clothes ever.
I have liked your bras, however, lately when I find something I want to order, when I click on a selection, it pops up as not available. Why do you advertise it? There is no information about whether you no longer carry it or whether you are temporarily out of stock. I feel that searching what you have is wasting my time, when you don’t really offer the selection.
In this New Year, and especially because your name is Title Nine, I’d love it if you would stretch out to help those women who wear over a size 14 — this is huge potential customer base for you, but more importantly , we need a woman’s company to take the lead on this.
1) Bigger women NEED to exercise, but having to wear clothes from the large men’s department makes it even harder, but that’s what I had to do to find clothes to fit me when I started working out.
2) Larger size women may be athletes in sport that makes them bigger- for instance, I’m a weightlifter so I need bigger size tops, even though I have lost weight and built muscle.
3) Athleta seems to take the lead on this by offering 1-2X sizes, but they will not carry plus sizes in their brick and mortar stores. While I’m glad I can order online, I still think their limited selection and decision to keep those sizes out of the stores is not truly helpful to this cause. Considering the quality of the merchandise, I ‘d love to be able to shop title Nine for all my workout stuff, and would not mind doing it online if I could find something cute in my size.
4) Now that I am in shape and doing Zumba, weight lifting, boxing, and yoga, I need even more workout clothes and I need something that is quality product. I am loyal to the brands who helped me when I was fat and out of shape.
5) Please know that I have also written to other athletic suppliers for women and men, such as REI and Dick’s, as well as Athleta, with this same message.
Thank you for your time and attention to this message. it’s food for thought in 2014. I am very involved in all social media and love to help women find nice workout clothes that fit. I’d do my own line if I was talented in that way. Please feel free to contact me for further information. I am hoping to see more athletic clothing to fit plus size women in the New Year!
Best regards,
