My Haiku:
My daughters are here.
Loud laughter, chaos arrives.
I am so lucky.
magical season
glistening days, peaceful nights;
love and hope abounds
Still strong, standing tall
Frosty grass, dried hydrangea
Garden of my heart.
-Aging athlete
Crisp is the day
Steam comes from breath
Walking along the path of winter
Equine eyelashes
Frosty morn with breath steaming
Early rising sun
“Morning Ride”
Magic in the air.
Catch a snowflake on your tongue
to taste peace on earth.
Cool dark winter nights
snow dancing in the crisp cool air
makes for a fun outdoor family affair
frosty winter’s eve
smiling at the memories
cool air surrounding
Together again
Laughing so hard that I cry
Hear the merry din
The mountain beckons
Hunched shoulders, caped white velvet,
dare to greatness. Ski.
