A prayer for peace
Love, Hope, Tolerance, Freedom
Change the world for good
Stringing twinkle lights
in frosty, holiday air.
Whoops! Forgot dinner.
love is everywhere
and the snowflakes falling down
remind us with glee
Waking up to white
Kids barely dressed for the cold
Snowballs going SPLAT!
Arms wrapped ’round our waists,
keeping warm, cheek to cheek,
laughing at steamy breaths.
Starlight. Frosty, breath.
Family friends gathering.
Carols fill the air.
Procrastination.
Overcome with strong intent.
Body celebrates!
Dance downstairs soft feet
Land between blue sky brown earth
Free spirit aloft
Lights like diamonds shine
Upon the new fallen snow.
Silence all around.
Night air — so cold, lights
all around are shimmering
with holiday joy
