Wanna win this sweet surfboard?
The contest period has ended. Thank you for all the amazing entries. Stay tuned over the next few days for the announcement of our winners!
We worked with our friends over at Carve Designs to create a one-of-a-kind T9er surfboard (shaped by Entropy) for one of you lucky ladies to win. Here’s all we’re asking – dazzle us with your creativity by telling us why YOU deserve this sweet 7′ sustainably-made ride.
Would you like to fulfill a life-long dream to catch a wave? Use it as a surf deco coffee table, or save drowning children in faraway oceans? Whatever the cause, tell us in 99 words or less by posting a comment below.
Share your words by June 1st, 2009 for a chance to win the surfboard awesomeness. Fret not, ’cause we’ll be giving away 2 prizes to the runners-up ($100 gift card + Team T9 membership).
Heads Up: Our contests are only open to Title Nine eMail subscribers. They are our way of saying thanks to our loyal customers. So if you aren’t already a subscriber you will become one by submitting your entry. Click Here to read the official rules.

No fancy prose, here, I’m afraid. . .just a 46 year old mother of three who hopes to take surfing lessons one day when I hit my “mid-life crisis”. Over the past 16 months I have lost 30 pounds with 6 more to go to hit my goal. I have just completed swimming lessons and now swim once a week to build my strength and stamina in order to be able to save myself when I wipe out (which I’m sure will be frequently!) Now, all I need is a wetsuit (I’m constantly checking your catalog for recommendations!) and, of course, a surfboard! Thanks for listening.
I live in Cocoa Beach Florida, one of the top destinations for surfing, in fact Ron Jon’s surf shop has a surfing school. CJ, and Damien Hobgood and Kelly Slater are all local heroes here and have brought a lot of attention to surfing. I would love to take lessons from RonJons with your awesome board alongside me!
I hope you will look favorably in my direction!
Hang ten! Lisa
When I opened your catalog and saw the beautiful Carve board I wanted to win it. Not only for myself but also for my two young daughters. I like to take my daughters on “adventres” and learn to explore the beauty of this earth. One more wonderful adventure to add would be to learn about the ocean and see how surfing is not just a sport for boys. I like to teach my daughters that you can do anything you want and nothing is too difficult.
Thanks,
April, Paige and Riley
My husband and I are expecting our first daughter in September. I am excited to teach her all of the fun activities that are important in my life like running, rock climbing, swimming and new to the list SURFING! It has always been a dream of mine to be a surfer babe and had the opportunity to do so this last year. It would be such a wonderful experience to share this with my daughter.
I deserve to win this sweet surf board because it has always been my dream to learn to surf. For the past 15 years I have been doing outrigger paddling and for the last three years I have been getting out there and jogging. I encourage alot of my friends to join me in whatever outdoor activity there is. This would be a wonderful sport to learn and to help me stay active. I believe the biggest thing in life is to keep moving and this will motiviate me to move more…
There is nothing like the stoke of catching your first wave. My favorite part of this soul sport is pushing kids off to catch the shorebreak, reliving exhilaration of that first ride each time. The excitment in their eyes and pride in their smiles when they stand up and catch that little wave to shore is surely the most sustainable resource we have.
Each year our church does a service on the beach, the altar being a surfboard laid across two beach chairs. What better tribute to this beautiful board!
I would like to win the cool surfboard so I can overcome my fear of the waves after a very near drowning with my sister and my husband. Thankfully, my husband- an experienced surfer, swimmer and lifeguard from the North Shores of Oahu, talked us to safety. I would like to prove to myself, my husband and my children that I can in fact “catch a wave” like the best of them!
My birth-mom was a 19yr old runaway & I always thought, “Why didn’t you run to Hawaii?” I was BLESSED to be adopted by AMAZING parents! Unfortunately they’re in WISCONSIN, one of the COLDEST states & NOWHERE NEAR the ocean! I’ve never fit in here. I visited Hawaii in 2003 & felt like I was “home”! I learned to surf while there & said “This is what was missing!” I cried when I left! It’s been 6 years & I’ve finally saved enough money to return! I’d love to visit HI with my OWN board & feel “home” again!
That surfboard longs to play with me and I wanna play with it. I’m realizing my dreams one experience at a time. Since I turned 30 here in Hawaii, I met my amazing husband, became a mommy of two fantastic little girls, learned to dive, hiked the highest peaks and played on every beach. I am turning 40 this year, graduating from UH with a Masters in Social Work and will be starting a job as an Oahu Child Protective Services Worker. My life is bursting with joy. Hawaii is home…just one more DREAM…I GOTTA LEARN HOW TO SURF!
i met the love of my life while vacationing on kauai. i quickly moved to the island.
at 35, he bought me my first surf board and taught me how to surf. we fell in love.
as the years went by my surfer love and i have grown apart. we are breaking up and i was forced to sell my small surfboard collection to finance the move back home. paradise is too small to share with my ex-surfer love and his new girl.
i’d like this board so i can find my new solo surf spot.
