Last time I went surfing was 36 years ago. I was 14 then and talked my brother into taking me out He let me use his old board when I tried to take my first wave the board broke in two.He would never let me use his new board, would be great to have one of my own. At the age of 50 I still have a crave to ride that wave !!!!!
i wish to win the beautiful surfboard for my daughter brittany. we are a family that loves the ocean.
when britt was 15, she took up surfing. she took lessons and saved up to buy a board. her first time in the water, a large wave came in; britt hit the bottom,(hard) and her new board flew up in two pieces!
britt is now 25 and getting married this summer. she wants to take up surfing once again. what an incredible gift this board would be, to help her get re-started.
thanks so much for your consideration, janis fountain
I’m a beach bum at heart after spending every summer of my childhood in a New England surf town called Narragansett, RI. I’m now the proud owner of the same house I spend those awesome summers in and have kids who are expert boogie borders. We’re ready to take up the big boards and they offer surfing lessons at our town beach. I’ve stayed in shape all these year and my bliss is to be in the water with what I call “Mother Nature’s Water Park” (a.k.a. waves). Hopefully my ballet training will come in handy balancing on your sweet ‘7 ride. Lisa Pascarella.
Today is Mother’s Day and it seemed appropriate to write in for the reason that I should receive the Carve/Entropy Surfboard. I have two boys who surf and I was always the one taking the photos and video-taping their fun when they were growing up. Don’t get me wrong I loved being the support team-climbing over concrete walls-leaping in the distant sand pile to get to the “perfect wave” or dropping them off and parking far away because it was a remote break-that must be conquered. Looking through the viewer became my part-time job. My younger son even convinced my husband and I to go to Costa Rica for a “family vacation”-which of course was at a surf camp-no air-conditioning and did I mention surfing two times a day.
I would have daydreams to sneak off after work and take lessons and surprise them with my skills, but busy work schedules and taking care of the family won out.
I am 52 years young and would love to take up the sport that evaded me all those years. I am an avid runner and spend many hours at the beach just enjoying the ocean. The boys are now gone- my older son just got married 6 months ago and my younger son in the minor league for baseball. They are well on their way to wonderful lives. I read about your contest and it brought back all the wonderful days of watching them surf and the great times I spent with the family and yes I want to surf all over again. I don’t think it ever left me. Unfortunately, my husband just lost his job and again surfing is on the back burner. We are in no means destitute and are thankful for the true treasures of family and friends.
I would just love to be considered for this surfboard-maybe I can surprise them at Christmas time with my surfing skills. Would love to see their faces-they would think I was just photographing them and I could whip out the board and “Shread”. Ha ha.
Thank you for your time-love the strong women in your catalog and love the clothes.

I LOVE surfing more than anything else in the world. It would be amazing to win this surfboard! I’m a Maine gal, and I just can’t get enough of the beach. This surfboard would help me improve my skills and so I can be more competitive in surfing. Thanks, Title Nine! I love you guys!
What a sweet board! I’m 43 years old and live at Stinson Beach. I’ve never learned how to surf but recently met a woman my age who’s out there in the ocean 3 times a week and she’ s inspiring me that even at my age, I can learn too! I want to learn to catch a wave, feel the wind in my face, the board gliding along the water underneath me, but most of all to challenge myself! Surfers talk about being in the “flow”, being one with the ocean and nature, the frame of mind, the challenge of mind, body and the illusive spiritual aspect… who wouldn’t want that?
I am an active female normally landlocked all winter working at a ski area in Colorado. I am currently in flight school on the Big Island, and a killer surfboard will help me chill out after sweating profusely practicing my crosswind landings at the Kona Airport. I am lucky to fly over the killer breaks like Pinetrees, allow me the privelege to shred thru the ocean after tearing up the sky. Aloha.
Refill the spirit and re-fulfilling a dream, that’s the plan for this sweet ride. My childhood, half a world away from here, was filled with surf and sand. Anything we could do in the water was golden. From Cape Town to Jeffrey’s Bay we had some of the best waves in the world to ride. To have a beautiful board begging to be ridden – who could resist that? I’d be compelled to get out there and feel the force of the waves and the pure joy of it all once more!
The Surf board will provide hours of active fun, spritual time on the ocean while in Mexico with my husband. it will carry my kids thru the waves, it will guide me thru the ocean and in to bliss. Happy Mother’s Day!
I recently turned forty and I’m not where I expected to be at this point in my life. It’s time for me to catch the next wave in life. According to my one-time surf instructor, “Surfing is a way of life. You get your energy from the waves and live riding them.” The synchronicity in my life is amazing now! I moved near the beach, got surfboard accessories for my car rack, and am looking for a used surfboard. Then, I’m shopping in the Title Nine Catalogue . . . there it is . . . my dream board!
