Love the surfboard!!!!!!!!! I would love to win this board for my grandbaby Reiss who is 22months. old. I am 58 yrs young and moved to Gulf Breeze, Fl, less than a year ago to be near her . I moved here from Portland, Or after 27yrs there. I now love Florida. Pensecola beach is 5minutes away from my house. The main reason I would like to win is because reiss absolutely loves the water. I bought her a bougie board and her mom and I go out into the ocean holding her on the board while she rides the waves. She screams Weeee………………….and absolutely loves it……
Reiss 2nd birthday is July16th. It would be so awsome to surprise her with this beautiful board.
Sincerely, Cathy Markey
I was 19 trying to become an ocean lifeguard. As I approached the jetty, preparing for the long swim I saw waves crashing and the rip pulling. It was a tumultuous ocean. I was terrified. Why was I doing this? It was because I wanted to surf. Years later I’ve lost my connection to the ocean. What could bring me there again? The place where I learned to surf a 500 lb Van Dyne, I met my husband and made friends that are etched in my mind as the most amazing people ever? That sweet 7”sustainably made Entropy board.

I’m proclaiming admiration for my daughter, Heather. She’s tried several times to learn on her father’s board, but it’s just too big. It’s wonderful that companies have become more dedicated in supporting female athletes. Winning a Carve Surfboard by Entropy would be such an empowerment for her. She’s turning into a beautiful young woman, has already decided to dedicate her life to the care and well being of others. She’s employed as a city Lifeguard and enrolled in a Nursing program. Active is part of who she is and managing it into any spare time available is a must.
The majestic ocean of the Pacific Northwest has inspired me with her moody yet magical spirit. Her beauty and grace outweigh the icy cold waves that make you shy away if you get to close. As I continue my ‘midlife journey’ of fun and adventure I want to jump in, ride those waves and experience what Mother Ocean has to offer, and what better way than to learn how to surf this summer. I have the energy, the right attitude, flexible body (from yoga), and now I am in search for the right surfboard that can keep me balanced and motivated (and on top of the waves too 🙂 Thanks for the consideration!
May showers bring summer flowers. Flowered swimsuit prints, that is. It’s been raining here in Maine for so many days I can’t even recall the feel of the warmth of the sun. I daydream of the hot sand on my bare feet, as a walk across the beach to the warm waters of the shore break. Clearly this day dream is about a warmer climate than mine. Ocean temps at nearby Acadia National Park are 38 degrees today. Wetsuits required. This Carve surfboard means I’d skip the home décor option and take a flight to Hawaii, my dream destination.
I always thought going out on the ocean would be awesome. Living in the Midwest, I got hooked on skateboarding…now my husband accepted a job in LA and I may be able to find out if I can surf the great Pacific waves all too soon:) California here we come. I would gladly accept your thank you by way of a surfboard.
Three daughters, beautiful smart and talented
What happened to my inner girl?
Lost in motherhood but still brewing beneath
the responsible, serious, loving, worrying brow.
To feel the wind in my face and the water beneath
my feet
To release the girl hidden by responsibility
To teach my three beauties to ride the waves
To feel young again. Gotta run, surf is calling.
this i the most AWESOMEST surfboard in the UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!! i really like it because blue and brown are my fav colors. i spend more time in the water than on land. my dram is to become a pro surfer on the world tour. i am only 13 but all i want to do is surf all day long! i wish surfing was an elctive in school so i could surf every day! some times the surf isnt that good in little Ormond Beach, FL, but when it is i am out in that water so fast you wouldnt see me pass you. i only have one board that i have to share with my 3 other siblings and i have been begging my mom for my own but it just isnt going to happen, but i wish. i just had my Confirmation a couple days ago and my name is Florian beacuse he(i dont care that he is a he even though im a girl) is the patriot saint of WATER!!! I have been surfing for a long time and just want to keep surfin for the rest of my life, and when i die my head stone is going to be a surfboard. if you give me the board i”ll be so happy i’ll be scared to touch it!!!!!!
This board needs to come to the Corpus Christi so we can begin to put an example and start exchanging our toxic boards for more sustainable ones. To show the local community that there are options out there that are being improved upon each time and that the shapers are interested in learning about our views in testing the board’s level of performance in different conditions.
