When our first annual Pitchfest Nonprofit Edition application went live in March, we crossed our fingers and hoped that we would get at least nine organizations to apply and participate.
Turns out we were super, super wrong about that.
After sorting through 92 applications, we invited our top nine finalists to T9HQ for two days of connecting, learning, and story-telling – and the results completely blew us away.
We’ve seen first-hand the power of women and what can be achieved when we come together, lift one another, and empower our communities. For our first annual Pitchfest Nonprofit Edition, we had the tough task of choosing our top nine from 92 – yes, 92! – applicants. SURFERS AND TEFF-LERS AND CHEMISTS – OH MY!
It ain’t hyperbole to say that 2020’s Pitchfest was a beast. But would we cancel? Hell no! We knew it wouldn’t be easy, but we counted on the one thing we knew we could: that none of the women involved know the meaning of retreat.
With a slew of talented organizers on our side and a group of incredibly badass, patient, and entrepreneurial women booked to attend, we took it on – and brought those pitches back – virtually. (more…)
When game-changing women band together, they’re practically unstoppable. Nothing can cancel women lifting one another up. After months of prep and planning, re-adjusting and re-planning, reviewing loads of incredible entries, and testing out all the affiliated gear, the wait is finally over.
