They are athletes and they are moms. They are business people and they are caretakers. They are active and they are activists. They, each and every one of them, can go big and still go home. They take risks that work out and they take risks that fall flat.
Just like us, they fit their workouts and adventures in-between work and family and kids and community.
Just like us, they hit the snooze button occasionally.
And just like us, sometimes, when they go big, they end up with bumps and bruises AND big learning.
Their hair gets wet, their knees get scraped, their pride gets dinged.
And then they go big again…
Just like you, just like us.
Scuba diver certified at 45 years old – conquered my claustrophobia (thanks to a GREAT dive instructor in Jamaica that got me through my “check-out” dive – now OBSESSED with diving! Have loved the ocean since I was a baby and they had to fight to get me out of it. So being able to dive down and actually BE with the creatures in the ocean is amazing!
I’m strongly fighting the old age symptoms by using a Nutritionist, staying active and not letting a number dictate my life.
I love how the Title Nine swimwear stays put while I’m diving and doing other water activities.
Stay strong ladies! God bless!
I love the stories of strong women! When people ask me what I do I prefer to let them know what describes me as a person not what my job is.
I do God, my children and love living life in the outdoors. My greatest adventures have been with my big brother, starting with teaching me to water-ski, then as I grew we rock climbed together, and jumped out of a perfectly good plane!
Now my adventures are paddleboarding and kickboxing. My work includes speaking out on behalf of women who need a voice.
I am an author and public speaker on behalf of the WI Department of Justice training to first responders as a survivor of violent crime of sexual assault.
Thank you for great gear to help find peace and enjoy the adventures!
This not so old lady went from super active to injured and for nearly 3 years couldn’t even walk through a mall without dragging a leg. Pain became so bad it was literally dangerous to drive as the hip wasn’t hindering movement.
A hip surgery and some recovery later, and I’m back to living life the way I like it. Active! Now, in 11 months time, I’ve lost the massive weight, got my mojo back, and have dropped from pushing a size 14 to nicely fitting a size 6. And the most fun thing is I give myself the gift of a Title Nine outfit every month or so.
Your clothes are the best! I love the fit, the feel, the comfort! So when I buy something, it is my gift to me for the grit, determination, and fun I am having to take my life back into action.
Thanks so much.
62 years old and still rocking it.
