I love Title 9 clothes. I showed my 20something boss your nice catalog. I just turned 50 and apologize sometimes but I’ve learned to wear my “50 year old hat” when deemed necessary. Don’t accept unacceptable behavior.
I am on a mission to not be apologetic about the snail mail spam I receive from too many sources, including, sadly, Title Nine. While I may have purchased and even been happy with your products, I have most definitely requested that you stop sending me catalogs in the mail. I also suspect you may have shared with a third party since I also get mysterious catalogs for other outdoorsy clothing. I receive too many dead trees in my mailbox. Please start caring about the environment.
Maria, you’re right, you shouldn’t apologize for that. We will fix it! if you haven’t already done so, please filled out this form to request no more catalogs. If you have already filled out this form and are still receiving them anyway, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact info and I’ll work on removing you from our lists manually. -Jessica @T9
I have loved your clothing for years but please begin offering more “women of a certain age” appropriate clothing. I no longer feel comfortable in a 20″ skirt (even with hidden shorts), lime green sweaters, or pants that only look good on women who are 5’9″ and weigh 125 pounds. Women of all ages love to get outdoors and be active, not just women in their 20s.
When you folks get it wrong you really get it wrong. “I’m sorry” may be the two most beautiful words you can say. But then it takes a big person to be able to say them.
A heartfelt apology for a wrong doing is one thing. They are talking about being meek and basically apologizing for your existence.
I would like to see more dresses, skirts, shorts and capris at lengths that are flattering to an average person, not an accomplished athlete. I’m 5’6″ and 135lbs but small is too small, medium is too big, same with size 6 or 8. If I buy to fit my hips, the waist is huge, I’d appreciate shorts that fell about knee length so appropriate for golf or other activities. Liner shorts on skirts ride up creating less than flattering and quite uncomfortable bulges. One piece suits for lap swimming and surfing that a 50+ year old could wear and weren’t too granny like and not feel inappropriate would be nice too.
Thanks for the feedback Jessica. I pass all customer suggestions on to our product development department so they know what our customers are asking for. I do love our 11″ inseam Brash Short. It falls right above the knee. We also have tons of one piece swim suits and tankini’s that work for lap swimming and surfing. Great looking, but also full coverage and support. Check out our swim page for some ideas.
I do not live close to a store..so have to reply on your catalog to match tops and pants/shorts/skirts….I find it SOOOO difficult to do that color wise because your catalog does not show things that go together color wise. And some of your colors are just enough off, that when they arrive they clash. PLEASE show what tops go with the pants/skirts/skirts in your catalog and online site!!!!!!!!
Nancy, if you ever have questions about whether items match you can call our expert ladies at Customer Service. They have all our gear at their fingertips and can pull the pieces you want and let you know what they think. They are super helpful. 800-342-4448.
I will be sending in my action photos in 2016 for my 60th birthday wearing Title Nine clothing. No stopping Baby Boomer Women! I kayak, paddle board, bike, swim, hike and am in the best shape of my entire life!
Awesome Sherrill. Sounds like the perfect way to usher in your best decade yet! Post your photos on our Instagram or Facebook pages and tag them with #myT9 so we can celebrate your birthday with you!
Never apologize for being who you are. Never apologize for your opinion (nor for voicing it). Never apologize for taking up your fair share of time/space/food/whatever.
Do apologize for hurting someone’s feelings. Do apologize for not listening. Do apologize for making assumptions. Do apologize for not speaking up. Do apologize for being disloyal. Even if these things are unintentional, they require an apology.
I love my swing skirt with mesh short and the Swb in gray. I would love them more if the mesh short didn’t ride up. I don’t have those lovely athletic thighs but I’m on my way and ride ups are sad. Dianne
I would be very happy to see some of your sporty dresses and skirts come in a slightly longer length. I would prefer not to show off all of my spider veins, etc. I don’t apologize for them–just don’t want to dress like I’m 25. I LOVE your designs and attitude but would be just thrilled with some sporty stuff that isn’t quite so revealing.
Liz, it’s your time of year then! Our fall selection has some great dresses and skirts with coverage. Take a look at all our new items, especially the Tomboy, Napa, Grid Whimsy, or Super Power skirts.
