Fail faster to succeed sooner

By Missy Park • Aug 14th, 2008 • Category: Missy's Musings

It’s a mantra of ours at T9. Failing is when theory turns to practice, failing is where the learning comes in, failing is what leads to success. But no matter how often we say it, it’s still hard to live it. So this fall, try a little failing with us here at T9. The opportunities are endless.

Be content with your lessons learned in poverty
for he is not poor who has little
    only he who desires much
and true contentment lies not in what one has
but in what one can do without

My last walk through the magnificant Labyrinth at The Dalles, Oregon left me with the message that it was ok to accept failure, learn from it and move on. This enlightenment has so changed my life. This along with “In bad times be brave; in good times reflect” enrich everyone of my days.

Ah, how well I remember this from my days at T9. Thanks for this great lesson which I continue to try and practice everyday!
